Multi Moonlights Present

It was a war field.

They camped on the little mound. The Major, the commander of the soldiers wept bitterly to see the dead youngest soldier. Suddenly he remembered a young woman who had told him “My, the only son refuses; he has aimed strictly to follow you. Please get back him alive.”

“OH GOD, I didn't teach him completely how to cut the fuse of the flying bomb before its landing. I thought he was too young. As jumping up high as he can at the just time; holding the burning fuse with one hand and cutting it by the sword with the other hand must be momentous simultaneously action. The fuse caught and blew him.  No hope of returning from this battle field.” He thought to himself. 

In the mean time the Captain came to him, said “Sir they have come back with empty hands. The two “Tops” i.e. the big guns have not been sent to us by the Royal authorities. It seems they neglect us.”

The Major was very disappointed to hear those words and said angrily to the Captain “Send them again for messaging my words: we need the said guns to face such numerous uncountable enemy soldiers. But now, be keeping it to protect the palace. We, the unfortunate three hundred remaining soldiers are ready to dedicate in the battle field.’’   

The Captain ordered the two soldiers to go to the king for reporting the Major’s words. And then, he turned to the Major and said “Sir, it is not ours, the only risk and there is no any sign of hopeful way of our victory in this last war. At other battle fields they already defeated our soldiers totally. Let’s return to our respective homes.”

The soldiers too condemned to the king and ministers. They wanted to retreat from the war.

The Major said calmly, “I can understand all. The royal brothers are not in unity. The enemies took chance for plotting this war against those who are not unified. The king took me out from the jail and sent me with eight hundred soldiers to this war field. I accepted it for the sake of my country.”

No one tried to speak up more. Everybody had to arrange for fighting the next third invasion of the enemy.    

The Major was standing on the mound. He looked closely at the direction of the enemy’s bigger camp and read the positions of the opponents. Then he turned to the soldiers and said," look my soldiers the numerous enemies will invade us shortly that they have finished their plans. There is no way of our success. So leave this place, all of you go to homes for sake of alive for a future. It is the time to obey my order.”

‘You, Sir?’ one asked.

The Major replied, “My life will be ending here”

The Captain said to him, “Let me follow you sir, I will fight and kill the enemies as much as I can.”

The soldiers didn’t obey the order of the Major.

One soldier said “I don’t know anything. Life is nothing. But now, I remember my motherland to do something: to sacrifice my life in this rare battle field.”

They know already they will be defeated, but aimed to fight.

The discussion was ended.

The heavy bunch of endless soldiers of the enemy began surrounding the mound.

The king sent the big guns. But it was late.

The light bunch of the limited soldiers were positioning as reading the approaching enemies from all directions.

At this eve, the Major gave a lovely glance at the flowering tree growing in freedom on the mound and said, “Yes, it is our last moment of our freedom.”
